We went on a one-day trip to Mt. Oe on Sunday, November 13! We enjoyed foliage viewing, rice cake pounding, and barbecue. 22 people participated in the event.
Oeyama is an area where demons are said to have lived in the past. The autumn leaves were just at their best and very beautiful. We also enjoyed pounding rice cakes the old-fashioned way. The rice cakes were very delicious.
The facility where we were taken care of was very beautiful and surrounded by nature. In the summer, the river in front of the house is filled with fireflies.
ShILC is looking for English-speaking volunteers. To apply, please visit our official website.
